Since I was young, I have felt the innate desire to see as much of the world as possible while here on it. This feeling has manifested itself over the course of my lifetime in a variety of trips wherein I have witnessed much that the world has to offer. The experiences have been invaluable, but often I have seen the struggle that some individuals face daily throughout our world. This sentiment inspires me to learn as much as possible as to contributing the future sustainability of our planet and then taking my knowledge/skills where they are needed.

I like this picture, and here's why. This photograph was taken by my girlfriend, unbeknownst to me, while I was doing some bouldering at Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. This spot is nowhere, this spot was ours. It's not off a main trail, it's not marked or mapped. It's the kind of place that Lord Byron spoke of when he said "there is a pleasure in the pathless woods...there is society, where none intrudes."
Now, though I'm not a huge fan, I'm also not opposed to a tasteful selfie in front of some monument of man or nature, but to me, I like the gentle reminder of nature's serene beauty with yourself as the casual observer from time to time.
